Egypt, France, and Rafale deal
Egypt and France have signed a contract for the procurement of 30 more Rafale fighter jets from
Dassault Aviation in favor of the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) (*).
Reports from Cairo suggest that the Rafale deal went through multiple stages of negotiations,
and that the Egyptian side insisted on the delivery of MBDA’s Meteor beyond-visual-range air-to-
air missiles (BVRAAM) with the Rafale fighters (**).
The United States and Israel had objected to the delivery of Meteor missiles to the EAF, to
preserve Israel’s qualitative military edge (QME).
The US side was actually more concerned with Egypt’s intended use for these missiles. In fact,
the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) played an important role in delaying the Rafale
deal, as it was convinced that Egypt will be up to “no good” after receiving such missiles.
Nevertheless, the deal went through, and the 30 Rafale fighters will be delivered with Meteor
missiles.
Egypt received a discount on the 30 Rafales, which was crucial in persuading the Egyptian
government to acquire more of these fighters.
France has also agreed to refurbish, maintain and upgrade the EAF’s Rafale fleet.
The 24 old Rafale fighters willreceive software upgrades as well as further enhancements to ward
off electronic warfare (EW).
Egypt also signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with Dassault Aviation that includes the
establishment of a maintenance and training unit in Egypt, which will be in charge of training EAF
engineers on maintaining and repairing Rafale fighters.
The unit will also help integrate the Rafale fighter command software into the Egyptian air
command. Egypt is planning on integrating various fighter systems in one unified command
software, since the EAF possesses various types of fighter jets with different and incompatible
internal softwares.
Egypt is rumored to be developing its own integration software for its various fighters. This
software will be unveiled during the opening of the Octagon, the new headquarters of Egypt’s
Ministry of Defense.

ملخص :
1- صفقة الرافال تأخرت بسبب إصرار مصر على تسليم صواريخ ميتيور وضغوط من الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل لمنع ذلك.
وانتهى الأمر إلى إتمام الصفقة متضمنة صواريخ ميتيور التي سيتم تسليمها مع المقاتلات.
2- الصفقة تضمن تطوير مقاتلات الرافال ال 24 لدى مصر (سوفت ووسائل إلكترونية) على الاغلب ستتمكن من إطلاق الميتيور أيضا.
3- اتفاق على إنشاء مركز صيانة وتدريب محلي في مصر لتتمكن مصر من صيانة الرافال محليا مع تدريب الكوادر المصرية.
4- أخبار عن نظام إلكتروني (سوفت وير) مصري يستطيع ربط المقاتلات المختلفة الطراز و المنشأ ومنها الرافال (سيتم دمجه محليا) ومن المتوقع إعلانه في افتتاح الاوكتاجون المصري.

لوز اللوز.. اهم خبرين هو الداتا لينك المصري يدمج على الرافال وقد يكون بالتعاون مع تاليس+مركز الصيانة المحلي ولو اني اتمنى تصنيع محلي

اعتقد ان مصر ماشيه بخطوات متدرجه .انشاء مركز صيانه محلى وعمل كوادر فنيه وتوفير قطع غيار كاحتياطى واحتياطى استراتيجى ومع تطور الامر ممكن نقل تكنولوجيه التصنيع فى صفقه منفصله واعتقد ده مع دخول فرنسا فى نشروع الجيل السادس مش قبل كده لان مصر مش عاوزه خط تجميع عاوزه نسبة تصنيع محترمه

الحقيقة ليس لدي علم.
أتمنى أن يكون لديه القدرة على تبادل البيانات مباشرة بين المقاتلات المختلفة مع قدرة مقاومة التشويش ولا يكون بحاجه لمركز تحكم أرضي مركزي تحتاج المقاتلات لتبادل البيانات معه كوسيط.
في حالة وجود النظام والاعلان عنه سيمكننا من معرفة على الاقل معلومات مبدأية عنه.

لذلك فرنسا افضل دولة اوروبية تشتري من السلاح ، دولة سياسته كدولة كبري و ليس تابع للهيمنة الامريكية في اوروبا و لا ننسي انسحاب فرنسا من الناتو من قبل بسبب تعارض سياستها مع الامريكان
الامريكان يستعدون لمغادرة الشرق الاوسط و بداية تحالفات جديدة في المنطقة و فرنسا في رأي هي من تتولي الشق العسكري في الاتحاد الاوروبي ومن خلفها الاوروبين لذلك لا يوجد تعارض علي التسليح الفرنسي لمصر بل منافسة فيما بينهم علي توريد السلاح لمصر
و الرئيس السيسي ذكي يستغل الوضع بتحدث الجيش المصري بأكبر قدر من الاسلحة الحديثة لذلك لا عجب من شراء مصر بنظام القروض لشراء اكبر كمية من السلاح الحديث
ان شاءالله تبقي في تاليس فرع مصر

.. في المشمشيكو ... دا لو العربة الهامر اتطورت اقطع دراعيلكن مبروك الميتيور و كمان وحدة مخصصة للصيانة و مساعدة تامة للدمج في منظومة ربط خاصة مصر تطورها مخصوص لدمج كل المقاتلات الشرقية و الغربية سيعلن عنها بافتتاح مقر وزارة الدفاع الجديد (لازلت لدي تحفظات او تخوفات من مدى كفاءة هكذا سوفتوير محلي و لكن سانتظر و نرى)

ماتقلقش مصر خبراتها العسكريه وخاصة التشغيليه مبنيه على تراكم معرفى وتقييم موضوعى وبالذات لانظمة الربط والاتصال واكيد اى نظام هيخضع للتجربه والتقييم بشكل عملياتى وفى ظروف مختلفه وفقا لاعلى مقاييس تجارب الاداءو الله ما قصرو الاخوة الفرنسيين .. حبيت و الله
