On Friday, five members of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, commonly referred to as the "Night Stalkers," lost their lives in a helicopter accident.
The incident occurred in the Eastern Mediterranean during a routine training mission, where their UH-60L Black Hawk crashed while refueling.
The helicopter reportedly went down southeast of Cyprus. Despite extensive rescue efforts by U.S. Navy aircraft and ships, no survivors were found.
