France will offer what's best in the military telecom

The Ministry of Defence has ordered from Thales Alenia Space and Airbus Defence and Space two military telecommunications satellites COMSAT NG. The amount of this program is 3.8 billion euros over 17 years.

The Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) notified Tuesday at Thales Alenia Space (TAS) and Airbus Defence and Space achieving two satellites COMSAT program NG (new generation communications satellites ). They will replace, as of 2021, the Syracuse 3A satellite Syracuse 3B and currently in orbit. The contract also includes the implementation of the ground segment for controlling these new satellites, achieving the main ground antennas for their use and support of these means for a period of 17 years from the setting first satellite service. The launch of the two satellites will be provided by Arianespace.

The COMSAT NG program should allow "the continued consistency of communications in the country and with the priority areas of interest, as well as our ships at sea at any time (peace, crisis or major disaster)," explained minsitère of Defence in a statement released Wednesday.

Reportedly, the program amounts to 3.8 billion euros over a 17 year period, including 1 billion euros for the first installment for the construction of the first two satellites. The construction of the 2015 budget included a commitment authorization of 817 million euros this year. In 2016, 170.30 million of commitment authorizations and € 69.8 million in payments are recorded on the finance bill for the benefit of COMSAT NG. Technological risks raising work was initiated in 2013 and the development phase in June 2014.

Thales (65%) and Airbus (35%) share the program
The Ministry of Defence has appointed Thales Alenia Space (TAS), which will be representative, the prime contractor of the complete system (satellites and ground segment). CAS, which until now was the prime contractor for the Syracuse system, will also be responsible payloads, including X-band, which is used for nuclear deterrence, Ka-band, used for satellite internet, and anti-jamming, says one in The Tribune. This industrial scheme should also be extended to export. Including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who wish to acquire military telecommunications satellites.

Both share the industrial construction of two satellites. Airbus will use its electric Eurostar 3000 platform TAS Spacebus while Neo, who was born thanks to the European program of ESA (European Space Agency), Neosat. This program will allow a reduction of 30% of the cost of satellites from the current concepts. In total, the Defense Ministry told TAS about 65% of the program and 35% to Airbus. Alongside the consortium comprising Airbus TAS and DS, industrial organization also includes companies Thales Communications & Security and Telespazio France, which are the main contractors.

But it has introduced a new, part of the contract is the subject of a public private partnership (PPP) between the state and the two industrial. TAS and Airbus can not resell used by the French armed forces capabilities. Because the program is designed for the French Army at the end of life (2030 to 2035). The state, which has already benefited from the PPP to lower the amount of the contract, could also recover a portion of the proceeds from the marketing of overcapacity COMSAT NG if both industrial manage to sell beyond the objectives set by the contract .

A foundation stone for information literacy

The control of information allows all levels of commitment, from the strategic to the combat platform to assess the situation and to conduct operational activities ".Realized satellites, operating in X and Ka bands offer increased performance in terms of communication skills, flexibility and interference resistance to meet the future needs of hosts.

This program meets the needs of armies in terms of satellite telecommunications capabilities necessary for the commitment of French forces and command of deployed soldiers in the country and at overseas operations (OPEX), including those on areas priorities defined by the White Paper on Defence and National Security 2013, extended from the Atlantic to the West Indies.

لا مازالوا تحت التفاوض الوفد غادر يوم الثلاثاء فرنسا و الخبر يتحدث عن صعوبة اتمام الاتفاق قبل مغادرة الوفد اي ان هناك جوله تاليه من المفاوضات

ذكرت صحيفة "لا تريبون" الفرنسية يوم الأربعاء أن المفاوضات بين مصر وفرنسا حول بيع قمرين صناعيين فرنسيين لمصر أحدهما للمراقبة والآخر للاتصالات العسكرية لم تتوصل لاتفاق قبل الموعد المقرر لمغادرة وفد تفاوض مصري باريس يوم الثلاثاء.

ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر في باريس قوله إن المفاوضات لم تصل إلى شيء جدي وما زالت بعيدة عن إبرام اتفاق.

وأضافت أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي يريد سرعة إبرام العقد ولذلك أوفد وزير الإنتاج الحربي اللواء سعيد العصار الأسبوع الماضي ليقود الوفد المصري في المفاوضات.

وذكرت الصحيفة أن المفاوضات جرت مع "ايرباص سبيس سيستمز" و"تاليس الينيا سبيس".

وتبلغ قيمة العقد نحو مليار يورو (1.09 مليار دولار تقريبا). وقالت لا تريبون إن الرئيس السيسي يريد أيضا شراء أربع سفن حربية فرنسية أخرى في صفقة تصل قيمتها إلى حوال 580 مليون يورو (632 دولار تقريبا).

وأضافت أنه إذا أمكن التوصل إلى اتفاق في هذا الشأن فسيكون لدى مصر في نهاية الأمر 11 سفينة حربية فرنسية.

الغاء الهيل يعني فقدها لاهم ميزه لها كورفيت هجومي او دوريه
عموما يمكن تجهيزها ب 4 صاروخ اكسوسيت و مدفع 76 مم و صواريخ الميكا مع تغيير الرادارات
بالنسبه للمنصه تحتاج ازاحه مناسبه لادخال التعديلات و الاضافات بشكل مناسب لذلك تعتبر الفريم ممتازه من هذه الناحية

اشتغل في السوفيت شيب انتاج محلي ارخص و يكفي الغرض و كده كده بوضعها الحالي غير قادره علي تقديم الحمايه مع تسليح ضعيف جدا جدا
