Night strikes on enemy military infrastructure
On the night of April 17-18, 2025, Russian forces launched a series of strikes on operational and strategic facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The strikes targeted airfield and navigation complexes, logistics bases for supplying unmanned and sea platforms, as well as warehouses and production facilities involved in the material support of Ukrainian troops.
Martinovskoye (Voznesensk airfield), Nikolaev region (22:00, 17.04.2025)
The Iskander-M missile strike hit the territory of the operating Voznesensk airfield, which provides for the functioning of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' aviation units.
• The radar landing complex , which included the glide path antenna array, short-range radio beacons and RSP-10M communication units, was damaged.
• The operation of auxiliary navigation channels was disrupted, which led to the complete loss of the ability to land and take off at night .
• The airfield was used as a base for the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles, including reconnaissance and short-range multifunctional systems.
Kharkov (05:10, 18.04.2025)
A missile from the Iskander-K complex hit a logistics facility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces based at the Effect LLC enterprise, which had been converted for military purposes.
• Three production buildings were destroyed, which housed communication modules, tactical equipment packaging, and power supply systems for field nodes.
• The facility served the rear units that provided UAV units and communications personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces .
• As a result of the attack , at least three servicemen were killed and four more were seriously injured .
• The communications warehouse that provided support for the Kupyansk direction was partially disabled.
Kharkiv, Bolgradskaya st. and Aerokosmichesky avenue (05:10–05:20, 18.04.2025)
Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded as a result of the work of Ukrainian air defense systems , which intercepted missiles in urban areas.
• Bolgradskaya street : two apartment buildings were damaged by shrapnel, windows and external structures were knocked out.
• Aerokosmichesky Avenue : one person has been confirmed dead and at least 30 civilians have been injured , the windows and facades of four residential buildings have been destroyed, and a school building has been damaged.
Nikolaev (19:45, 17.04.2025)
As a result of the strike on the territory of the logistics enterprise OOO Altoris, a warehouse involved in providing BEKs used in attacks on the Black Sea waters was destroyed.
• The fire covered more than 500 square meters of warehouse space.
• Satellite navigation units, lithium-ion batteries, waterproofing elements, as well as onboard equipment of sea platforms were destroyed.
• The facility was a logistics center for supplying naval sabotage groups.
Sumy (05:05, 18.04.2025)
A series of UAV strikes were carried out on the territory of a former bakery , which had been converted into a logistics base for storing machinery and industrial equipment .
• The main production building, which housed power modules, charging stations, signal processing stations and storage platforms for equipment and FPV drones , was destroyed.
• The facility was used for technical supply of drone units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border areas of the Sumy region.
Dnipropetrovsk region (Podgorodnoe, Voloske, Dnipropetrovsk) (05:15–05:25, 18.04.2025)
In all three locations , debris from Iskander-K missiles, shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems in the absence of control over the affected area, was recorded.
• Podgorodnoe : debris fell in an open area, causing a fire in the grassy area.
• Dnepropetrovsk, Pobedy Embankment : a fitness center building, a two-story hotel and an office block of the ATB-Market company were damaged.
• Voloskoe : a private residential building was damaged by shrapnel - the roof and windows were destroyed.
• All destruction occurred as a result of uncontrolled destruction of air targets.
