قام وفد عسكري مغربي مكون من ثلاثة ضباط بزيارة إلى مركز المعلومات الجيومكانية التابع إلى الجيش البرتغالي من 18 إلى 20 سبتمبر، هدف الزيارة هو تبادل الخبرات في المجال كما تم التوقيع على مذكرة مشتركة لرفعها إلى القيادات العليا للبلدين.
Within the framework of Portugal-Morocco Bilateral Cooperation, the Army Geospatial Information Center (CIGeoE) hosted from 18 to 20 September a delegation from the Kingdom of Morocco, consisting of Lieutenant Colonel Badr Benamar, Major Reda ERRASSAFI and Major Sami BENAISSA.
This visit is part of the existing cooperation between the two countries regarding the exchange of experiences in the field of Geospatial Information.
The program included a visit to CIGeoE facilities, with a special focus on the cartography production chain, structure for the dissemination of geospatial information in the Armed Forces and Geospatial Information Disclosure Systems.
It was also signed during this visit a draft to be submitted to the higher levels, with the aspects to be developed in the next activities between the two organizations.

The Army, through the Maintenance Regiment (RMan), received, on September 18, in the framework of the 21st Luso-Moroccan Joint Commission, the visit of a delegation of the Moroccan Armed Forces, consisting of Colonel Riad Bellaj and Colonel Issam Lahmar.
The program of the visit began with the greetings session at the Unit Honor Hall, followed by an exhibition by the Second RMan Commander, Lieutenant Colonel José Lopes, which aimed at the mission and commitment of the Regiment, focusing on its operational activity in support of Army Units, as well as logistical support to National Forces deployed on mission in various Operations Theaters.
At the Battalion Maintenance facilities, the visiting delegation had the opportunity to get to know in more detail some equipment and capabilities of the Portuguese Army, as well as the circuit of their maintenance.
