LTV is equipped with 225ps diesel engine, all-wheel drive, auto transmission, 4 channels ABS and runflat tire system that guarantees high mobility and excellent logistics support in any condition of terrain.
LTV max speed is about 130 km/h with a range of 600 km.
KIA Light Tactical Vehicle is part of the third generation of vehicles constructed by KIA. The first generation, developed from 1977, was a localization of U.S. vehicle. For the second generation, developed from 1997, KIA mounted its own-developed engines and improved the performance of its vehicle. With the third generation, KIA is developing a Korean unique model.
