The news of the completion of the deliveries marks the finalization of the intergovernmental LoA, concluded between Poland and the United States on February 13, 2019. The contract included the delivery of 20 M142 HIMARS launchers (including 2 for training) for a total of $414 million.[3] The first HIMARS, 5 in number, arrived by air in May 2023. By the end of the year, 18 were transferred to the Polish Army, which went to the 1st Mazurian Artillery Brigade, which is part of the 16th Mechanized Division.[4]

The United States’ State Department’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (EDCI), Estonia’s military procurement agency, signed an agreement at the end of 2022 for the purchase of the launchers following the DSCA’s approval of the sale in June that year.

The November delivery fulfills a $436 million foreign military sales (FMS) case that was notified to Congress in October 2020, an almost four-year gap between notification and final delivery. Earlier press reporting suggested delivery of this sale would be completed sometime in 2025, so this first batch of HIMARS may have arrived a little ahead of schedule.

Taiwan is still waiting on delivery of a second batch of 18 HIMARS launchers and munitions valued at $520 million, which were notified to Congress in December 2022. This second batch is scheduled to arrive in 2026. Taiwan ordered the additional HIMARS after canceling a $750 million FMS case for Paladin self-propelled howitzers.

حينها كانت لوكهيد مارتن تنتج 48 راجمة في السنة ,, اليوم تمت مضاعفة الانتاج الى 96 راجمة سنويا اي تسليم أسرع

HIMARS is a highly reliable, combat-proven system that exceeds performance requirements. HIMARS production capacity has already increased from 48 per year to 60 per year and is on track to meet the 96 per year capacity by the end of 2024. To meet this demand, the company has increased its tooling and maximized the space within its factory footprint. Lockheed Martin is also working with its long lead supply chain on increasing production and advancing funds to shorten manufacturing lead time.

رغم ذلك هناك دول لا زالت تسبقنا في الترتيب و حتى لو تم رفع قدرة الإنتاج لن يكون التسليم هاته السنة ، ممكن السنة القادمة على أقل تقدير
