International customers of the Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft will gather in March 2016 at St Augustine in the United States to discuss their plans for the long-term sustainment of their E-2C fleets and also possible future transition to the E-2D Hawkeye.

Speaking to IHS Janes , Tom Trudell, Northrop Grumman international business development manager for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, said that the biannual International Hawkeye Program Management Review (IHPMR), hosted by Northrop Grumman, would bring current Hawkeye users and potential customers for the E-2D together to discuss future developments.

"One of the biggest subjects is the issue of long-term sustainment and transitioning, and we're very focused along with the US Navy [USN] in making sure that the E-2C remains viable, supportable, and operable into the next decade in conjunction with keeping the [navy's] aircraft airborne," Trudell said.
