orpene class: In April 1997, Southwest Marine of San Diego, CA, teamed with Empresa Nacional Bazan (now IZAR) of Spain, visited Egypt to present their proposal to build two Scorpene class submarines fitted with US-made internals provided by Lockheed Martin Systems and EDO. The Southwest Marine offer was extremely attractive in that it involved a US content of between 80-86%; presumably achieved by conducting most of the hull construction in the US. On the other hand, the Southwest Marine/IZAR offer carried significant risk with an untried design and a new team in the submarine construction business. The Southwest Marine/IZAR proposal was reportedly valued at between US$600-700M.

هذا كان خطوه من ضمن عده خطوات امريكيه نحو اجهاض الرغبه المصريه في اقتناء 2 غواصه ديزل من المعونه الامريكيه من عام 92 و هم يماطلون و يبددون الوقت في مفاوضات فشلها اكيد و كان اهم محطات الفشل الموراي الهولندية

السلام عليكم

بالنسبة للغواصة فهي ستكون هجين ما بين بدن الغواصة سكوربيون و معدات امريكية و تركيب في احواض اسبانية الامر احياء لمشروع الغواصة مارلين للبحرية الاسبانية التي ارادت غواصة افضل من السكوربيون الفرنسية بنسختها الاولى التي تم تحويلها لعميل آخر و هو الشيلي


بالنسبة لاحتمالية و مصداقية الخبر فهنا احب ان انوه ان الشراكة الاسبانية الفرنسية حول السكوربيون قد فسخت بعد مرافعات في المحاكم التجارية و بالنتيجة تخلت اسبانيا عن حقوقها في الملكية التقنية و الانتاج للغواصة لفرنسا و البالغة نسبتها %40 مع تنازل فرنسا عن المطالبة بالتعويض عن سرقة الملكية الفكرية و تطبيقها في الغواصة S-80 Class و عليه اي تفاوض على اي غواصة تحمل نسبة معينة من التقنية الموجودة في السكوربيون فسيكون مباشرة مع الطرف الفرنسي

أعتقد وأتمنى فى نفس الوقت أنه إذا تعاقدت مصر على غواصات سكوربين فلن تكون هناك معدات أمريكية عليها هذه المرة.
