يقام معرض يورونافال هذه السنة من 27 حتى 31 تشرين الأول /أكتوبر في مركز المعارض "لوبورجيه" في باريس "Paris Le Bourget" . ينظم EURONAVAL تحت رعاية وزارة الدفاع والمفوضية العامة للبحار الفرنسيتين للاطّلاع على النشاطات البحرية وشؤون السفن. ويلتقي الاختصاصيون وأصحاب القرار والمشترون من جميع أنحاء العالم إبان المعرض الذي يقام كل عامين للتعرف إلى الاتجاهات الجديدة لنظم الدفاع البحري بالإضافة إلى مشاهدة نظم ومعدات المستقبل. وقد أجرت الأمن والدفاع العربي مقابلة مع جان ماري كارنيه، الرئيس التنفيذي لمعرض يورونافال لإلقاء نظرة على التحضيرات لهذه السنة.


ما هو معرض يورونافال؟
يعتبر يورونافال (EURONAVAL) المعرض عالمي رائد متخصّص حصراً بالأمن البحري والسلامة البحرية، وهو يقام تحت رعاية الحكومة الفرنسية. ويغطي المعرض سفن السطح والغواصات والطائرات البحرية، بالإضافة إلى كل أنظمة الأمن.

كيف يختلف معرض يورونافال عن المعارض البحرية الأخرى؟ وكيف تختلف دورات المعرض عن بعضها البعض؟
يتمتع معرض يورونافال، الذي انطلق للمرة الأولى منذ 45 عاماً ليتوّج في هذا العام دورته الـ24، بتجربة فريدة من نوعها، كما أنه لا يزال أكبر معرض للدفاع البحري في العالم. لهذا، لا يزال يشكل هذا المعرض، المكان المناسب لوزراء الدفاع ورؤساء الأركان المختصصين بالدفاع والأمن البحري وقادة البحرية ورؤسائها.
وتبرز كل دورة من معرض يورونافال، مجموعة كبيرة من المنتجات المبتكرة والمتطورة القادرة على مواجهة تحديات القرن الواحد والعشرين الكبيرة. كما يقدّم يورونافال أيضاً، لقاءات بين العارضين وصنّاع القرار من جميع الدول البحرية في العالم.


ما هي دول الشرق الأوسط والخليج التي تشارك في المعرض؟
يرحّب المعرض هذا العام بعارضين جدد من آسيا والشرق الأوسط. تعدّ آسيا، القارة ذات النشاطات الأكثر نمواً في مجال الدفاع والأمن البحري، وقد باتت تعتبر مشاركتها كقارة عارضة وزائرة استراتيجية.
ومن بين القادمين الجدد، نحن نتوقع أن نستقبل جناحاً خاص بدولة الإمارات، ما سيعزز العلاقات بين كل من فرنسا والإمارات العربية ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، ويحفز التعاون في مجال الدفاع البحري.
كيف تعتقدون أن هذا المعرض سيحسّن مجال الأمن والدفاع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والخليج؟
لطالما تخصّص معرض يورونافال في مجال الدفاع البحري. وسيقدّم المعرض هذه السنة، مساحة مخصصة تعرض للمشاركين حلولاً للقضايا المتعلقة بأمن النقل البحري للبضائع والأفراد، أو عمليات الإنقاذ في البحر، والبعثات الإنسانية، ومراقبة الهجرة، ومكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع، أو تأمين الموارد التي ترتبط بالطاقة والتعدين أو صيد الأسماك. ويمكن لكل هذه التقنيات المتطورة تقديم حلول لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط والخليج بالإضافة إلى الحكومات المعنية.

ماذا يوفر معرض يورونافال للعارضين والزوار؟
يغطي معرض يورونافال الذي يقام كل سنتين في باريس، والذي سيمتد على فترة خمسة أيام، كل القطاعات الضرورية للقيام بالمهام الساحلية والبحرية، والتي تشمل مهام حماية السيادة البحرية، وإنفاذ القانون وحفظ السلام في البحر، وحماية المنشآت والموارد الطبيعية، إضافةً إلى مهام السيطرة على الهجرة غير الشرعية.
إن معرض يورونافال هو فرصة مهمة للدول العالمية المنتجة لعرض حلولها لأصحاب الميزانية الدولية.


يدعم معرض يورونافال قطاعات الدفاع والأمن والحماية في البحار. لماذا لم يتم طرح هذه المواضيع لمناقشتها في مؤتمر يورونافال؟
يركز مؤتمر يورونافال هذه السنة على الأحداث الجارية وتأثيرها على المدى الطويل، بحيث سيكون هناك خمسة عشر خبير متخصص في مجال البحار. لقد تم تحديد ثلاثة مواضيع لسنة 2014: "التطور في أنواع الصراعات في البحر في عام 2025"، "مساهمة التعاون الدولي للحفاظ على أداة صناعية قوية"، و"التقارب بين المصالح العامة والخاصة لحماية وتعزيز الموارد." وستساعد هذه التوقعات المستقبلية على إبلاغ صناع القرار حول الحلول اللازمة للاندماج في البرامج المستقبلية.


ما الذي يقدمه المعرض لفرنسا؟
يقدّم يورونافال لفرنسا على فترة خمسة أيام جمهور عالمي من المستوى العالي هدفه إبرام صفقات كبرى. وفي عام 2012، لبّى 96 وفداً دولياً من 67 دولة، دعوة الحكومة الفرنسية. ويعدّ المعرض أيضاً فرصة للبحرية الفرنسية الدفاعية ليدركوا كيفية تسليط الضوء على أنفسهم أمام "صناع القرار" الدوليين من القطاعات الأمن البحري.

أبوظبي لبناء السفن تشارك في "يورونافال باريس" غدا .

أبوظبي في 26 أكتوبر/وام/ أعلنت شركة أبوظبي لبناء السفن المتخصصة في مجال بناء وإصلاح وتوفير خدمات تجديد السفن البحرية العسكرية والتجارية اعتزامها المشاركة في فعاليات معرض الدفاع والأمن البحري "يورونافال باريس" في دورته الـ 24 الذي يقام في الفترة من 27 إلى31 أكتوبر الجاري في مركز المعارض "لوبورجيه" في باريس وذلك تحت رعاية وزارة الدفاع الفرنسية وأمانة الدولة لإدارة شؤون السواحل في فرنسا ويعتبر هذا الحدث معرضا عالميا رائدا ومتخصصا بشكل حصري بشؤون الدفاع والأمن البحري وواحدا من أهم الفعاليات على أجندة الصناعة البحرية.

CMN worked in collaboration with naval architect Thierry VERHAAREN to design the C-Sword 90 stealth corvette. It may be fitted with various weapon systems, such as 8x MBDA Exocet Block 3 anti-ship missiles, 16x VL MICA and 2x SIMBAD-RC SAMs, Oto Melara 76mm main gun...
This corvette was especially designed to optimize its overall operational performance and in particular with extensive work on the hull lines. Nothing was left to chance, and each volume and each curve are adjusted to not allow any compromise between maneuverability, performance and resistance to sea. Corvette C Sword 90, is simply designed to operate safely and efficiently.

Designed for the high intensity combat, the new flagship of CMN can act both on the high seas and coastal areas.

) CMN, the Cherbourg based shipyard, unveils for Euronaval 2014 yet another innovation: The OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH . Building on the experience gained during the development of the OCEAN EAGLE 43, whose first units will be put in the water at the end of 2014, CMN has declined its iconic trimaran design in mine warfare version with strong multirole capabilities.

The OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH is a high-performance compact mine warfare trimaran vessel. It is multirole platform as it may conduct:
- Mine warfare missions (its main role)
- Littoral, EEZ or strategic offshore assets protection missions
- Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance missions
- Anti-piracy
- Anti-trafficking
- Special operations support missions
- Search and rescue

CMN designed the OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH to answer the needs of modern navies looking for versatile mine hunters able to perform various secondary tasks while combining ease of use and performance.

The architecture of the OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH offers an optimal compromise between performance and endurance at sea: The vessel may cover 2500 nautical miles at 14 knots with only 14 crewmembers.

Thanks to its modularity, the trimaran can accommodate all the infrastructure and equipment necessary for a mine warfare operation such as Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and combat divers.

The mode of operation of the mine hunter is based on the use of autonomous vehicles and ROVs on board the OCEAN EAGLE 43MH acting as a mother ship. Operations are conducted from a safe distance of the ship. Long range mine detection enhances the security of the mother ship, ensures the integrity of the crew and ensures mission success.

The OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH comes with self-defense capabilities including a 20mm remote weapon station plus two 12.7mm machine guns, the three combined offering 360 degrees coverage of the vessel.

The OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH is also fitted with electronic warfare systems, C-ESM, electro-optical sensors, surveillance and navigation radars. The unit is interfaced with a "Command and Control" C2 system and with the "Integrated Navigation System."

The OCEAN EAGLE 43 MH is, par excellence, the modern mine hunter that meets the needs of navies worldwide looking to procure a new concept of efficient ship at reduced acquisition and operating costs.

فيما يخص التسليح .. لديها منصة سلاح عن بعد بعيار 20 مم اضافة لعدد 2 رشاشات آلية عيار 12.7 مم ,, بمجموعها , تشكل تغطية 360 درجة حول السفينة .

نظام الحرب الالكترونية من نوع C-ESM , ولديها نظام كهروبصري , رادارات استطلاع وملاحة .. تصب في نظام قيادة وسيطرة مزود بنظام ملاحي مدمج .

DCNS الفرنسية تعرض الغواصة الكونسبت SMX OCEAN

Xavier Mesnet, Marketing Director (Export of Submarines) at DCNS, gives Navy Recognition an exclusive preview of the SMX OCEAN that will be unveiled at Euronaval 2014. The interview was conducted at the confidential site of Bagneux where DCNS develops its combat management systems and conduct some research and development on future projects.

The focus of DCNS engineers in developing this submarine was put on endurance and high sustained speed. The 4,700 tons SSK was designed for an endurance of 14,000 nautical miles (3 months autonomy) and a continuous transit speed of 14 knots for 1 week.

To achieve such performance, the propulsion system is based on DCNS' revolutionary second generation fuel cell. It consists in the combination of a diesel reformer (therefore only diesel is used for both the diesel engine and the AIP) with air fuel cell technology.

More details on this second generation fuel cell (which has already been tested by DCNS) as well as on the SMX OCEAN will be disclosed during Euronaval 2014.

The SMX OCEAN concept is fitted with an impressive load of up to 34 weapons for action in the four domains: anti-air, anti-surface, anti-submarine & action against land targets.
The SMX OCEAN SSK is DCNS answer to the recent emmergence of several heavy SSK projects such as the Type 216 by TKMS (~4,000 tons ), the KSS III project from South Korea (~3,000 tons ) or the Soryu class of Japan (~4,000 tons).

DCNS already has the know how to design heavy submarines (few shipyards in the world are capable of designing and producing SSBNs and SSNs) and DCNS insists SMX OCEAN is more than a concept: Construction could start fairly rapidly since it is based on the already under production Barracuda SSN.

شركة Zodiac Milpro تعرض الزورق ZH-935 بمحركين ديزل من نوع RIB

Zodiac Milpro will display at Euronaval 2014 the outcome of an exceptional knowledge and many years of innovation, research and trials : The Zodiac Hurricane ZH-930 Twin Inboard Diesel. Based on the exceptional MACH II Air Channeled Stepped hull, the platform of the ZH-930 is available on size ranging from 9 to 11 meters. This boat allows the crew to operate in the most extreme sea conditions.

With a displacement of 7 tones, ZH-9 meters platforms are suitable for conducting raids from shore or from a naval vessel and can be deployed from frigates. The boat can carry the full spectrum of commando weaponry and equipment in addition to advanced radio communications.

The MACH II 9m is the ultimate platform for multimission boats and is particularly efficient in operation thanks to its modular deck space. The new French commando boat (ECUME), dedicated to replace the ETRACO (already manufactured by Zodiac Milpro) is also based on the ZH-930 which is already in delivery to Armed forces in Europe.

ZH-935 Twin Inboard Diesels
Extremely maneuverable and stable the MACH II hull is available in Outboard or Inboard propulsion, aluminum or fiber glass hull and classical, DShape or « Hybrid* » collar. The ZH-930 is an extremely modular craft and can be deployed individually or as part of a powerful assault group.

This new RIBs meets the needs of Commandos operating in various mission areas including, air-sea operations and others maritime activities. The RIB can meet various mission requirement with its’ quick reconfiguration system: “Deck tracks”.

Controp to display its new High Definition HD EO/IR Stabilized Payloads at Euronaval 2014

Controp Precision Technologies Ltd. is announcing the newly expanded line of High Definition (HD) Electro Optical InfraRed (EO/IR) stabilized payloads for maritime applications. The new QUAD-HD and the DSP-HD have already been selected by several major customers worldwide. Controp will be displaying an operating QUAD-HD camera payloadin Hall 2, Booth B31 at the upcoming Euro Naval 2014 exhibition in Paris, France.

The QUAD-HD is a new addition to Controp's operational and proven EO/IR payloads. This new device is a three-gimbal gyro-stabilized payload with up to four sensors including a Full HD Color Day Camera and a Thermal Imaging Camera, both with a powerful Continuous Optical Zoom and also an Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder and a Laser Pointer. Weighing only 22 kg, the compact QUAD-HD payload and the classic QUAD payload have been supplied to numerous major customers worldwide including Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa.

The flagship DSP-HD is a high definition, high performance EO/IR gyro-stabilized payload with up to five EO/IR sensors. The DSP-HD enables superb 24/7 long range observation. The DSP-HD includes aFull HD Color Day Camera and a Thermal Imaging Camera, both with a powerful Continuous Optical Zoom, a Color HD Day Spotter, an Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder and a Laser Pointer.

The DSP-HD is a four-gimbal, gyro-stabilized system which has been proven to provide an exceptionally outstanding Full HD day picture. The DSP-HD weighs only 29 kg and is easily integrated onto a wide variety of platforms through a flexible configuration suitable to any specific application. The DSP-HD payload, as well as the classic DSP-1 payloadis in use by many customers and in many countries, including the Israel Police Air Unit, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and numerous other naval, airborne and land platforms in Israel and worldwide.

ظهور غواصة "بيرانيا" ــ مفاجأة معرض "يورونافال"

كانت مفاجأة معرض "يورونافال 2014 " في باريس ظهور غواصتين روسيتين، كانت السويد تبحث عن نظيرتهما في مياهها في الفترة الأخيرة

من مفاجآت معرض "يورونافال 2014 " للصناعات البحرية الدفاعية في باريس ظهور غواصتين روسيتين من نوع "بيرانيا".

واسترعت هاتان الغواصتان اهتمام وانتباه زوار المعرض على خلفية الأنباء التي تحدثت عن أن القوات البحرية السويدية بحثت مؤخرا عن غواصة روسية، على الأرجح، في المياه السويدية. وحسب المصادر السويدية، فإن الغواصة الافتراضية التي بحثت عنها القوات البحرية السويدية تنتمي إلى فئة "بيرانيا" وهي غواصة صغيرة الحجم.

وقالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية إن الأسطول الروسي لا يحتوي على أي غواصة من نوع "بيرانيا" الآن.

وانضمت غواصات من هذا النوع إلى أسطول البلطيق أحد الأساطيل البحرية الحربية الروسية، في نهاية الثمانينات من القرن العشرين، مثيرة خوف حلف شمال الأطلسي. ثم تم سحبها من الخدمة، لكن الخوف منها ما زال قائما.

وأخيرا صنع العاملون في مكتب "مالاخيت" لتصميم السفن في مدينة سان بطرسبورغ الروسية، غواصتين جديدتين من نوع "بيرانيا".

وتتميز غواصة "بيرانيا" بدرجة عالية من الأتمتة وبالقدرة على كتم الصوت، ويقودها طاقم متألف من 3 أو 5 أفراد.

أما عن تسليحها، فهي تحتوي على قاذفيْن لإطلاق طوربيدات أو صواريخ جوالة، وعلى 8 ألغام.

ولا يوجد مثيل لغواصة "بيرانيا" في العالم حتى الآن.

Raytheon and L-3 complete second successful firing of TALON Rocket Remote Weapon System

Raytheon Company and L-3 demonstrated a second successful test of the TALON Rocket Remote Weapon System (TALON RRWS), an innovative and cost-effective defense solution for small vessel protection.

During the test, Raytheon and L-3 successfully launched a Raytheon TALON laser-guided rocket after the TALON RRWS received positioning information from a remote sensor. Illuminated by a laser designator on the weapon system, the TALON guided to a direct hit of a target. The test, held this summer, followed a proof-of-principal test in January.

The TALON was fired from a LAU-68 launcher fitted to L-3’s Advanced Remote Weapon Station, using the company’s O•N•E 360™ situational awareness imaging system, and Sonoma 1205MD™ turret for laser designation. TALON RRWS has equipment from L-3’s Integrated Optical Systems, Sonoma EO and KEO business units.

“This system represents an affordable and effective solution to the increasing demand for small ship protection from swarming surface threats,” said Rick Nelson, vice president of Raytheon’s Naval and Area Mission Defense product line. “Raytheon’s TALON, combined with L-3’s sensors and Advanced Remote Weapon Station, provides digital, semi-active laser accuracy that is available today.”

Designed to carry up to seven TALONs, the self-contained RRWS incorporates an electro-optical sensor and laser designator, together weighing about 500 pounds. It requires only a target queue to engage on-mount target tracking and can be integrated on ships ranging in size from riverine to major surface combatants.

TALON’s versatility allows for sea, air and ground launch applications“L-3 and Raytheon recognized that small ships need an affordable self-defense capability that also provides enhanced fire power,” said Dave Wessing, vice president and general manager of L-3 Integrated Optical Systems’ Brashear facility. “This innovative combination provides a cost-effective, lightweight solution that can be installed on the majority of small ships today.”

TALON is a cooperative development program between Raytheon and the United Arab Emirates. Its digital semi-active laser technology provides precision accuracy at low cost for 2.75-inch/Hydra-70mm rockets. TALON’s versatility allows for sea, air and ground launch applications.

The compact and highly modular design of the optronic mast system 110 ensures ease of installation, integration and logistic maintainability. It distinguishes itself through its unique capability to conduct a 360° quick look around (QLR) in merely three seconds with a resultant panoramic view.
The OMS 200 sets itself apart through an enhanced stealth (visual, IR and radar) technology in a highly integrated compact design. Its optronics comprise an integrated sensor system made up of an HDTV day camera, a short wave infrared (SWIR) camera and an eye-safe laser range finder on a single line of sight.

شركة STX France تعرض كونسبت الكورفيت DEFENDSEAS الجديد

STX France unveils a new DEFENDSEAS corvette concept on the occasion of Euronaval 2014
Key event of the experts in naval defense, maritime safety and security, Euronaval exhibition, which takes places this week in France, is the perfect occasion for STX France to unveil its new corvette concept. Called DEFENDSEAS, this concept arises from a R&D program launched in 2013.

The ship integrates a large number of the “technological bricks” developed by the STX France into a highly compact and optimized architecture which provides the best operational capability for this type of vessel. Key element of the design, the helicopter hangar installed at the lower level is served by a lifting platform and is enclosed into a 500 m² large storage area located aft which can be tuned to various missions. This space is able to store heavy RIB commando crafts, 20 ft containers, and light army vehicles. RIB launching is ensured by the aft ramp or through two side doors. A unique overhead traveling crane can launch the RIBs as a davit and load containers directly from a harbor dock.

The superstructure is crowned by a panoramic bridge with an aviation control center, and shelters the operational rooms and living quarters, and an unmanned aircraft. Finally DEFENDSEAS is designed to integrate a large weapons and sensor suite which gives it the capability of a true warship. Its firepower consists of 4 anti-ship missiles, 16 anti-air missiles, 76 mm gun turret and some 12.7 mm remotely operated machine guns. With a displacement of 2.500 t for a length of 91 m, the ship can reach a top speed of 25 kts and has a range of 6.000 nm at 12 kts.

During Euronaval 2014, Rosoboronexport, subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, presents some of its new ships which will draw the attention of the traditional and budding partners. Some of the great success of Russian naval industry are exhibited, as some of possible future success.

The Project 22356, Admiral Gorshkov Class, is a multipurpose frigate developed since 2005 and built by Severnaya Verf OJSC. 20 vessels are intended to be built for the Russian Navy and 6 of them are supposed to be delivered by 2020. The design is based on the Talwar/Krivak IV Class frigate developed by Russia for India and incorporates stealth technology. The Admiral Gorshkov Class vessels are equipped with a new 130mm gun mount, a 30mm close-in weapon system (CIWS) gun and eight SS-N-26 Yakhont/Onyx anti-ship cruise missiles. Project 22356 Frigate is designed to engage enemy surface ships, search for and destroy submarines, engage ground targets deep in the enemy territory, provide fire support to amphibious assault. With its CODAG propulsion, Project 22356 Frigate can displace its 4750 tons at a speed of up to 29.5 knots. The endurance of the ship is about 30 days and its maximum range is about 4.500 nautical miles. An Helix class helicopter is also on board.

Rosoboronexport also displays a Project 20382 Tigr corvette. This ship is smaller than a frigate but has an impressive weapon system anyway: 8 SS-N-26 Yakhont/Onyx anti-ship cruise missiles, a 100 mm A190 gun, CIWS, anti-submarine missiles... The ship designed for fighting against enemy surface combatants, submarine and aircraft, for ensuring combat security of naval task forces or for engaging shore targets with artillery fire. The Russian exporter also exposes two types of submarines: the Project 677E Amur-1650 diesel-electric submarine and the small coastal submarine Piranha/Piranha-T. The first of them is the export version of the Project 677 Lada Class, proposed, amongst others, to India and China. Amur Class is offered in various configurations with a displacement of 550 t to 1,850 t and different weapon systems. The submarine can speed up to 21 knots.

The Piranha class submarine was developed in the nineties but is come back with a new version. This submarine class is dedicated to the littoral warfare.

Almaz exhibits its Project 10750E Inshore Minesweeper. An inshore minesweeper is designed for mine countermeasures (MCM) operations at sea near ports, bases, their exits, coastal shelf zone at depths down to 100m and popular tourist shallow water routes, and seaways between resort islands of nation whose tourist business profits make a considerable part of the national budget. The Project 10750E is equipped with an AK-306 CIWS.

The Project 12200 Sobol class patrol boat was launched in 2006. This ship is design for coastal patrol, search and rescue operations, protections of marine resources. It can speed up to 47 kn (87 km/h). It is aluminum made and has a displacement of 57 tons with a fuel capacity of 6.8 tons. It has a cruising range of 500 nm at a speed of 40 kn. It is armed with 4 Vikhr anti-ship guided missiles and a ak-306, a derivative of the ak-630.

Rosoborenexport also showcaises the Project 11356 class frigate that equips the Indian Navy (Talwar-class frigates). A Project 14310 Mirazh fast patrol boat, designed by Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau, is also displayed. Its functions are to carry out protection of territorial waters and exclusive economic zones, and to provide support to police, coastguard and customs forces. It is armed with an ak-306 and some portable air defense missile systems Igla.

Another fast patrol boat was presented near the Mirazh: the Project 12150 Mangust. The Mangust is much lighter than the Mirazh (27.2 t against 120.2 t) and much lighter armed (only a 14.5 mm machine gun for the Mangust).

More impressive is the Project 12061 Murena-E Air-cushion landing craft. It's an amphibious air-cushion landing craft is designed for taking combat materiel or forward deployment amphibious troops from a beach or large landing ships and transports, for power projection by sea and for beaching. It can transport its load at a range of 200 nm at a speed of 50 kn. It can load 2 infantry combat vehicles, or 2 armored personnel carriers, or 3 armored vehicles, or 1 medium tank, or 130 troops.

Rafael showcases a new "naval" Iron Dome: the C-DOME Naval Point Defense System
Israeli manufacturer Rafael chose to showcase for the first time the C-DOME Naval Point Defense System at the largest naval exhibition in the world: Euronaval 2014, which is held from 27 to 31 October in Paris.

Rafael's C-DOME is designed to effectively protect combat vessels against a large set of modern threats. C-Dome handles saturation attacks by engaging multiple targets simultaneously. Reaction time is very short and enables automatic and semi-automatic engagements.C-Dome components include a multi-round launcher assembly loaded with vertically-launched canisterised interceptors. The launcher is installed under the ship deck.

C-Dome utilizes the ship’s own surveillance radar and does not require a dedicated Fire Control Radar. Weapon System Command and Control is seamlessly integrated with the ship’s combat management system, facilitating system operation.

C-Dome uses the combat-proven Iron Dome interceptor that has already achieved more than 1200 successful interceptions.

Interceptors are maintenance-free, and are stored in a sea-proof canister. Up to 10 interceptors can be loaded into a modular Vertical Launcher Unit.

Interceptors are vertically launched with unrestricted 360° azimuth coverage. The highly advanced warhead ensures high kill probability against a wide range of targets. The C-Dome interceptor is extremely agile and with a high rate-of-turn enabling intercepting of even the most maneuverable targets. Its state-of-the-art proximity fuze maximizes lethality and its powerful warhead ensures target destruction.
C-Dome has a small footprint and can be integrated on small ships, including OPVs and small Corvettes. Rafael's new defense system has numerous benefits, such as high firepower, unrestricted 360° circular coverage, operation in both blue and littoral water, simultaneous engagements of multiple targets, commonality with the combat-proven Iron Dome system, etc.

ECA Group of France is showcasing for the first time its "SWUV", the future swimmer delivery vehicle (SDV) of the French Navy. This SDV was designed by ECA Group, in cooperation with the French procurement agency (DGA) and French Navy combat divers, for troop delivery and stealth coastline intervention missions.

The SWUV will be capable of deploying remote intelligence subsystems while underwater, and then forward video or tactical information via radio or satlink.

The main missions of this SDV will be:
- Divers and VIP delivery on target area
- Coastal intelligence with electro optical subsystem
- Explosives transportation to target area

It can transport 6 special forces divers including the crew of 2.

OTO Melara offers new short range defense solution: the HITROLE 20mm
Today at Euronaval 2014, OTO Melara has unveiled its new HITROLE® - 20mm RWS, which is a modern, fully stabilized, electrically operated and remotely controlled naval weapon system, fitted with a multi barrels cannon, which can represent an effective, short range self defense for small boats as well as the secondary armament for any class of ship.

The high rate of fire and the 20mm caliber of the HITROLE® - 20mm make it particularly well suited for Coast Guard patrolling operations, anti-smuggling operations and for countering asymmetric threats.
The high capacity of the ammunition storage (750 rounds 20mm), provides the necessary operative flexibility and autonomy for close-in protection against sea-based threats and air targets. HITROLE® - 20mm is fitted, as standard configuration, with the renowned three barrels 20 mm x 102 mm Gatling gun, characterized by high reliability and rate of fire. The system, upon request, can be fitted in alternative with single barrel machine guns of 12.7mm caliber, 12.7mm Gatling gun, 40mm AGL, or. as growth potential, six barrels 20 mm x 102 mm Gatling gun and 30 mm LF chain gun.

OTO Melara HITROLE® - 20mm remotely controlled naval weapon system

HITROLE® - 20mm can be easily operated by a single operator through a Remote Control Console and joystick or can be controlled by the ship's Combat Management System. Installation on board is very simple and does not require deck penetration.


The high performances of HITROLE® - 20mm digital servos, the combination of the optical sight, the ballistic computer with very high speed computation, the outstanding elevation angle (-30° to 75°) and the possibility to be equipped with different cannons, grant to the User a multi-role capabilities with the chance to engage efficiently and effectively in short time with significantly high payloads on targets.

The low RCS shield designed for demanding RCS requirements, protects the system and enhance its endurance under harsh environment.
