طائرة الشحن العسكرية الأوكرانية il-76 جثمت فوق أرضية مطار سولت ليك سيتي قبل الزوال عبر رحلة ممتدة من Melitopol الى مطار Ottawa/Macdonald-cartier International Airport.
موقع war zone افاد بأن طائرة الشحن العسكرية عرفت على أساس طائرة 737 تحت تسجيل UR-IVK والتي هي اصلا تابعة للخطوط الجوية الأوكرانية Diniproavia Airline ،وتجدر الإشارة الى ان دنيبروفيا لا تطير الي الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية على الإطلاق ،وأن 737 من تلك الخطوط الجوية ستكون بعيدة جدا عن أوكرانيا.
واشار حساب TwitterCivAilAir بان هذا قد يكون خطأ في برنامج التتبع أو مشكلة مع جهاز إرسال وإستقبال الطائرة.
في الساعة 4 مساءا،بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ،نشرت صورة للطائرة المعنية بأنها طائرة عسكرية من طراز إلوشين 76 وكانت جاثمة في قاعدة الحرس الوطني لرولاند آر رايت الجوية والتي تقع في الجهة الشرقية جانب مطار سولت لايك سيتي،في جناح إعادة التزود بالوقود الجوي رقم 151 التابع للحرس الوطني في يوتاه والذي يشغل أسطول ناقلات KC-135R.
وتوقع جوزيف ترافيتيك بأن يتم تنفيذ مهمة سرية عسكرية بين أوكرانيا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عبر تسليم معدات أنظمة ردار متنقل غير محدد الهوية لفائدة القوات الجوية الأمريكية.

Ukraine’s airspace is defended, first of all, by surface-to-air missile systems, such as S-200V and S-300 (in PT, PS, and V1 versions), and Buk-M1. According to the data of the British International Institute of Strategic Studies provided in The Military Balance 2017 overview of the military and defense potential, Ukraine’s Air Force has 250 S-300 systems of various versions and 72 Buk-M1 systems. These figures might seem impressive, but many of these air defense systems were produced in the Soviet times; it is vitally important to keep overhauling and upgrading the available fleet of surface-to-air missiles (SAM), developing and producing new air defense systems because similar Western systems are expensive and the access to the Western market is limited. This is the only viable containment strategy.

لا اظن هذا فمن مصلحة واشنطن التقرب من حدود روسيا ووضع قيود برية وجوية على تحركات الجيش الروسي.

The 151st is assisting with the "download of mobile radar asset under [a] contract managed by Hill Air Force Base," U.S. Air Force Major Kevin Larsen, a spokesperson for the Utah Air National Guard, told The War Zone in an Email. We were then directed to reach out to Hill for further information, but, at the time of writing, the public affairs office there has not yet been able to respond to our queries.

Ukraine, a friendly former Soviet republic that still maintains and produces various Soviet-era systems, has become an increasingly valuable source for this type of equipment. In September 2018, the U.S. Army reportedly took delivery of another Ukrainian air defense radar, a36D6M1-1, which is associated with the S-300 surface-to-air missile system.

Variants of the S-300 remain in servicein Russia, as well as numerous other countries around the world, including other potential American opponents,such as Iran. The new Ukranian radar could also be similar, if not identical to a system still in widespread use.

Hill, one of the Air Force's premier F-35 bases, and the associated UTTR, would be a prime location to test out the radar and how the jets react to it. The Air Force, as well as other U.S. military services, might look to pit other types of non-stealth fighter jets, including those tasked with suppression or destructionof enemy air defenses (SEAD/DEAD), against the radar, too. It could be a valuable training target for electronic warfare, electronic intelligence, and potentially other manned or unmanned aircraft against the radar, as well.
 
مفهوم SEAD/DEAD
SEAD or Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses and DEAD Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses is a mission type useful in the pursuit of ‘Air Dominance.’

The United States typically employs a cascade of control in the battle space that allows for the safest possible troop movements and operations. The first part of ‘owning’ that battle space is Air Dominance. Destruction and Suppression of enemy air defenses means removing the enemy’s ability to utilize anti-air guns, missiles and RADAR. Once control of enemy airspace is seized ground forces can be more aggressive in their movements since overhead strike support is easier to field.

ليس هناك قرصنة ولا هم يحزنون ،إنه تعاون عسكري بين أوكرانيا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ،المهمة فهم ردارات ومنظومات الدفاع الجوي الروسي لأن أوكرانيا مازالت تشغل نفس المنظومات الدفاعية المضادة للأهداف الجوية.
