Iniohos 2017, the Hellenic Air Force-led, multinational exercise between NATO Allies and partner nations kicked off in Andravida Air Base in Greece.
According to a statement released by the Hellenic Air Force, the “complex exercise” Iniohos 2017, which will run from March 27 to April 6, involves the air forces from
Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Italy. The Greek navy and units from the army also partake in the drill.
Iniohos 2017 exercise has been designed by the Greek Air Force General Staff and takes place within the
FIR Athens.
The exercise scenarios include situations of escalating tension, virtual crises and tensions and advanced hostilities.
It runs on 24-hour basis, in a realistic and challenging environment along with an intensive and sustained pace and the respective standards of the exercises TLP, RED FLAG and others.
