In the midst of a wild reckoning in all ministries, Mauricio Macri's government asked the United States of America for an extensive list of military equipment to be procured in order to "combat terrorism." There are powerful fighter planes, tanks of war, medium and long range missiles and helicopters similar to those used in the Malvinas war, for a total cost that far exceeds the 2 billion dollars that plans to disburse the national administration in the Two years.
The Uncover granted exclusively tocomplete list of weapons that the Argentine government requested in mid-2016 the US Congress for approval, and even found that some materials were already acquired. Through a note addressed to Congressman Peter Visclosky, Ambassador Martín Lousteau attached the list of military equipment requested by the country to "combat terrorism", citing as a reference a meeting he held with representatives Eduardo Amadeo and Luciano Laspina, from Let's change.

The order details that the Argentine army is requesting, among other things, 12 Cobra AH1 attack helicopters used by the US military during the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and Lebanon, about 10 Chinook helicopters used in The Falklands War, another 16 Black Hawk UH60 , another type of tactical transport aircraft, known worldwide for its role in the Iraq War, and lastly about 26 Bell 412 helicopters, which would represent a total of more than one billion Dollars .
In addition to the powerful helicopters, the National Army also ordered some 182 StryKer war vans, models M1128, M1130, M1132, M1134 and M1139, which are used by the US and Israeli armed forces. For its part, the Air Force did not want to be left behind and also made an extensive "wish list", which even began to be fulfilled: although the country is designed similar aircraft, the nationalgovernment requested some 24 aircraft of Hunting Texan T6 , of which already they were bought about 12 as it was officially announced just a month ago. The Texans are advanced training aircraft for pilots, which were used in World War II and during the following decades. The total cost of these aircraft would exceed $ 280 million.
But the Texans were not enough for the Force: another 12 F-16 FightingFalcon fighter jets were added to the list, a fighter bomber developed by the US in the 1970s that is no longer produced for its armed forces, but is material Exclusive export. This aircraft is considered supersonic (it travels faster than the speed of sound) and was used in the Lebanon War, Afghanistan and the US invasion of Iraq, among other armed conflicts, and the total cost of the purchase would be around Exorbitant sum of 250 million dollars .

Finally, the Navy also made its own list of "needs", and required, among other things, about 2 Orion aircraft, commonly used for maritime patrol. It was used by the Americans in the 1960s, when they carried out numerous blockade patrols in the vicinity of Cuba, as well as participated in the wars of Vietnam and the Gulf. The cost of both would be around 70 million dollars . In addition to the Orion, the National State asked the United States for about 24 Amphibian armored vehicles model AAVR7A1, which are currently used for the transport of US Marine Corps troops.
These models were used during the Malvinas War by the Argentine dictatorship, as well as they participated in the war of Iraq and the Gulf. In this case, the value of the purchase would be about 60 million dollars.
