مواصفات النسخة الجزائرية الجديدة mi-28 ub
With the exception of the dual, the Mi-28UB is identical to the Mi-28NE and can be operated under any weather conditions, day or night, and was designed to destroy ground targets, including tanks, air targets at low speed, enemies in front line and tactical troops, and perform reconnaissance missions and coordination of military helicopters groups, and is the export variant of the Mi-28N, which was integrated into the Russian forces in 2006, and is distinguished by the adoption of a system of millimeter-wave radar 025 H-NE allocated on top of the main rotor, allowing the detection of airborne targets at a distance of 20 km, and land at a distance of 10 km. The maximum range for designation of ground targets is 8 km. Monitoring of climatic phenomena maximum range is 100 km.
The helicopter is equipped with modern avionics which allows, inter alia, the exchange of information with other aircraft via a data link system (datalink). Both crew has at its disposal the HMD (Helmet Mounted Display).
A major concern of the designers was the safety of the crew and integrity of vital aircraft systems. To get an idea, a titanium armor and ceramic was applied to the cabin structure, fuel tanks, rotor blades (main and tail), drive shaft, control rods and hydraulic aircraft systems and can withstand shots 20 mm artillery. The blades of the main rotor, made of composite material, remain in operation even if they are hit by 30 mm artillery rounds. The pilots' cabin windows are shielded and resist 12.7 mm rounds, HE projectiles of 20 mm and shrapnel missiles. The fuel tanks are filled internally with a self polyurethane foam sealant to prevent leaks or explosions, even if hit by rifle fire or 12.7mm shots. All the shields of the aircraft can be replaced in case of damage. The aircraft is also equipped with heat suppressors in the engine output ducts.
The chances of Mi-28UB survival are exponentially magnified thanks to a set of countermeasures that includes a radar warning system RWR (Radar Warning Receiver) on the front and side of the aircraft, laser warning LES (laser warning systen), and dispensers of chaff and flare. Optionally, the aircraft can also be equipped with optical-electronic jammer system President-S, which automatically detects the launch of enemy missile and emits infrared and microwave signals, interrupting your browsing.
In Mi-28UB the nose is the electro-optical system of the aircraft, made by the GOES-521 turret (LLLTV - Low Light Level TV and FLIR) and TOR turret (cameras Zenit), both giroestabilizadas in addition to the guidance system radio of air-ground missiles.
The nose also houses the non-detachable mobile turret NPPU-28 with the cannon Shipunov 2A42 30mm, with movement capability of ± 110 ° azimuth and + 13 / -40 in elevation, being equipped with two boxes of ammunition with a total capacity 300 projectiles (30 x 165 mm) and can range from APFSDS-T, APDS, APBC-T, HE HEI HE-T.
The Mi-28UB has four fixed points, 2 at home wing and can employ up to 2,300 kg of a wide variety of weapons (missiles, rockets and aerial bombs) and / or additional fuel tanks. Wingtip are the chaff and flare dispensers helicopter.
The aircraft is also equipped with a small cargo compartment on the left rear which can be used in rescue missions for the extraction of up to two people.
