BAL-E Coastal Missile System (BAL-E CMS) is intended for control of strait zones and territorial waters; protection and combat sustainability of naval stations, maritime communication lines, coastal strategic units located in the dangerous areas subject to attacks of landing forces, as well as supremacy at sea within the missile engagement zone.

BAL-E CMS is equipped with X-35E anti-ship cruise missiles with an active jam-resistant seeker operating at the terminal stage. Power supply of each combat-ready system unit is provided by autonomous or external source of power.

BAL-E CSM includes:

• self-propelled command control and communication post that ensures target designation and optimal target assignment between missile launchers depending on their combat readiness and combat position;
• high-precision active and passive radar detection channels that allows pursuing flexible and covert detection strategy;
• self-propelled missile launcher that ensures safe storage of 8 anti-ship cruise missiles in a mobile launching
• container and their further launch;
• mobile missile loader-transporters (their number depends on the number of selfpropelled missile launchers) that are
• intended for preparation of subsequent salvo.

• High mobility and ability to use in NBC-contaminated combat areas.
• Ability to change launch and reloading positions after completion of a combat task and to dispersedly relocate to new combat areas at any time of the day and night under any weather conditions.
