ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin has won a $22 million contract for upgrading Royal Saudi Arabia helicopter software.
The contract calls for Lockheed Martin to provide Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) Special Repair Activities for the Royal Saudi Land Forces' fleet of Apache attack helicopters, the company said Wednesday.
"Saudi Arabia is the second international customer to establish an M-TADS/PNVS in-country Special Repair Activity. Providing test and repair capabilities for international customers greatly increases supply availability and maximizes Apache mission effectiveness," Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control M-TADS/PNVS international and fleet support director Mike Taylor said
