I love it when a plan comes together! Today I visited SAMI Aerospace Composites and saw an impressive array of equipment being commissioned to produce in-demand composite components and assemblies for both defense and commercial aerospace platforms. The on the ground team is making great progress building up the Kingdom’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and we Lockheed Martin are proud to be their partners! #SAMI

شوف الآلات والبنية الصناعية التي يتم انشائها والكوادر السعودية
التي يتم صقلها وتدريبها بجهد وعمل شاق منذ وقت ليس بالقريب
وستعلم ان المملكة لا تريد ان تكون دولة مصنعة عسكرياً فحسب
بل تريد ان تكون مركز لسلاسل الأمداد حتى في أصغر التفاصيل
للصناعة , للسوق المحلي والأقليمي والعالمي ايضاً.

كان بمقدورنا أن نصنع الوهم مثلاً .. كما تفعل بعض الدول ووضع اسم سعودي!!
بمكونات اجنبية , اسهل وارخص وتوفير للوقت , كذلك كما تفعل بعض الشركات
تقوم بصنع درون مثلاً .. واستيراد غالبية الاجزاء والمكونات من الخارج

لكن هذا لا يحصل مع سامي .. المملكة تريد ان تستقل
بصناعة ومكونات وطنية حتى في اصغر وأدق التفاصيل

السعوديين ان ارادوا شيء حققوه بأذن الله
سامي عملاق قادم اشبه بأرامكو ولكن في مجال الصناعات العسكرية

استضفنا في مقر الشركة وفدًا من شركة لوكهيد مارتن الرائدة في مجال صناعة الطيران والفضاء والدفاع برئاسة السيد تيم كاهيل الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع الصواريخ والتحكم الناري، وكان في استقبالهم م. عبدالله المطاوعة الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة الذي عرّف الوفد خلال جولة ميدانية على أبرز قدراتنا وإمكانياتنا في صناعة هياكل الطائرات بالمواد المركبة؛ كما تضمنت الزيارة اجتماعاً لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون بما يخدم تحقيق مستهدفات توطين الصناعات العسكرية.

s we speak now, the facility being qualified by Lockheed Martin is having the final qualification testing for the equipment.

We’re finalizing all the qualifications, and it will be operational by the end of this year. We should start manufacturing some composites in that facility by then. There is a plan to relocate this facility now and we’re working on the design of the new facility, but we’re still focusing on the qualification so the qualification moves with the facility.

So, with ST Engineering, we have started the defense systems, and now we are exploring autonomous capability cooperation.
